Curiosity (Quick Write Story)

I am sick of the rainy weather! It's been a whole week and it hasn't stopped raining. I packed my bags and left. I was going to… HAWAII!! I was so excited so I dashed over to my friend Kora's house to see if she wanted to come. She obviously said yes she hated the rainy weather too. She packed her bags as quickly as she could. We got our bikes and peddled as fast as we could. We were finally there… we got on The boat. It was so fancy I loved it! A few hours later we still weren't there but then the microphone said, “ We will be arriving in 45 minutes.” We were so excited when we heard it. We were finally at Hawaii. Yayyyy!!! Kora and I shouted. We jumped off the boat and dashed to a hotel. We paid for a deluxe room. "Oh my gosh!" I said, i"t's luxury here!" We jumped on the bed.

"Wow it's so comfy" Kora Said. After getting changed and getting our togs on we went to the beach. We went snorkelling and discovered heaps of cool fish! Like clown fish and puffer fish. It was so fun! Then we bought a house and lived in Hawaii happily ever after.

Stable owners Jess and Andrew

  As they dashed off, a glimmer of stripes could be seen in the enamours croud of horses racing  down the field. The horses were a misty blue colour with a magical Tail shimmering while they run fast to get back to the stable to have a little nap. while the horses were coming back Jess and Andrew the stable owners were making sure their stables and food were ready, but when the horses came back there was a zebra in the pack it was very weird to Jess and Andrew because most zebras are in Africa, anyway they let the Zebra stay there because its just a Zebra it wouldn't do anything. So they kept the zebra. The End.

The Soccer NZ Pride Team!

 The Soccer Pride Team is a Woman's New Zealand Soccer Team, When they came to our school we got to play soccer games with them and played some other fun games, I dont know the name of the game but its basically having a bib in the back of your shorts and running around not letting people steal it, and you have to try see if you can get someones bib and the person with the most bibs win. I really enjoyed hanging out with them and getting to meet them!:D I know its short but that's all I really had to say:)

The Old City...

 

This was where I used to live it had malls! shops! everything you needed! and houses of course. until..the ocean!! it kept rising and rising I climbed the building, I got to the top and i was exhausted I sat down, the water! it stopped rising! but.. it had filled the whole city! I was really scared.. then i saw more people! they were sitting down, I ran over to see who was on the building when I got there I saw my auntie and my father then I looked at the other buildings there were so many people. I looked down... Ahhh! a shark was down in the water I looked again there was another one! I ran away from the edge and decided to jump off in the boat that I saw in the water, I jumped I was screaming "AAAAAAAAA!" I landed on a matres on the boat we drove away in the boat. I realised I had fell asleep, I woke up and we were at a island there was a house! the person who saved me was something like josh he was 23 we lived in that house happily ever after!:D Now Im 54 And still Living in The House. and the boy who saved me has sadly passed. i still don't believe it happend  i haven't gone back in years now, i really want to go back.. but i want to keep safe. i was 11 when this happend i was very smart to jump otherwise i might not have survived. the end!

French

 Over the past 3 weeks on Monday Mashup we have been learning french with Urmi. On the first week of learning french we made a Fortune Teller with different french words in it, the second week we just learnt how to play snap in french but sadly i wasn't there that day. 

Going back to the first week of french we were learning the basics of french so we did like hello in french and that is bonjour and all the welcome french words, Since i wasn't there on the second week we will talk about week three, this week is week three actually this today we did a colour sheet this is a picture of it, it was very fun we got to learn the words and colour them in. here are some of the colours in french - bleu - blanc - rouge - noir - jaune - vert - rose - marron - orange - gris - violet thats all of the colours!, Thank you for reading!.

 

Sun And Us Explanation Plan

The sun is important to us because it gives us light, vitamin D and controls the seasons. The Sun can also be dangerous because of droughts, Dehydration, and human health problems.

The sun provides light to help plants grow: Sunlight is needed for photosynthesis.Without the Sun many people, animals and plants would be unable to exist.

Vitamin D:

Did you know that Exposure to the sun provides Vitamin D, which helps to make  bones stronger and may also protect the body from a variety of diseases if you would like to know more about the sun read my Explanation!:)

Energy: The light energy of the sun is absorbed through chlorophyll, which is the chemical that gives plants their green colour. Any energy not required by the plant is stored in fruit, leaves and roots, which in turn gives people and animals energy when they consume plants for food.

Droughts:

Deserts can be created in some areas, Where almost nothing can grow.

farmers would have to kill their Animals because they would not survive the heat anyway.

Sunburn

Sunburn is when you’ve been exposed to the sun for too long and you turn red because you have sunburn.

Longer sessions without sunscreen in the sun can cause second degree burns and blistering.

Hi I am looking for my friend Bob. He is a mint green alien with glamorous skin. He is 100cm tall and has slick hair on his body. His eyes are white and he was last seen wearing pink underwear. Introduction - What are you explaining? I'm going to be telling you why,how,when and what we do to celebrate Matariki.

Main idea 1: What is Matariki? Matariki is a cluster of stars that are in the sky at night. These stars are special stars. They are Matariki.

Main idea 2: When is Matariki celebrated? The next time Matariki will be celebrated is 2022 friday the 24th of july this year in 2021 Matariki was celebrated on july the 2nd.

Main idea 3: Why is Matariki celebrated? Matariki is known as a Maori new year. Matariki is celebrated to remember the stories of the people that have passed away.

Main idea 4: How do we celebrate Matariki?  Maori new year, they celebrate by sharing foods, remembering the people that have passed away and telling stories.

Main idea 5: What could your family do to celebrate our Matariki Day 2022? Go camping and sit around i fire and tell stories about the people that have passed away

Optional Extra:  What is the Matariki Myth story? Matariki means tiny eyes or eyes of the god. The matariki story is about a cluster of stars that split apart their mother and father. The reason they split their parents was because they wanted light, they were always in the dark. After they split  they were in the light.

For Maths we have been doing statistics we have done a survey on lunches to see what results we get back from the form we got a lot of responses back. We found out that the egg sandwiches were the least favourite. Thank You!

My Special Place 

My Special Place is the beach because when I'm there I feel happy and confident.The fun thing is that you can go boogie boarding, surfing, swimming and playing in the water. You can walk on the pier and watch the sunset too. I usually go with my sister and my Mum. I think the beach is Beautiful because The ocean is nice and cool.
